Answer: The front microphone should be functional under normal circumstance, However, some problems might appear due to inappropriate installation of drivers. Please follow below instruction if your microphone can not be detected in Windows 10.
- Go to device manager and Uninstall [Intel SST Audio Device (WDM)]
- Reboot your system manually and back to desktop [Note: do not reinstall audio driver, system will scan for correct driver automatically.
- Microphone (Intel SST Audio Device (WDM)) should be detected and ready to use.
