After F12 BIOS update, some DMI data in BIOS might be cleared during update.

It will need to do clear CMOS for motherboard, then it should boot up properly.

Please update the latest version TPower II utility for fix the problem.

By using AMD 790G chipset motherboard with ATI VGA card, it will be able to support up to 4 monitors at same time.

This funciton is called ATI Surroundview.

It will show Socket AM3 on top of CPU socket.

Compare to Socket AM2 picture.

1. Plug black color cable on SPDIF pin 3, red (or orange) color cable on SPDIF pin 2.

Note: This cable should supply by VGA card manufacture.

2. Plug the quick connector on VGA card.

SPDIF audio will output through the HDMI to monitor or TV.

Intel Core i7 Processor CPU has 4 physical cores, instead of 8 cores.

Due to Intel HT (Hyper-Threading Technology), it can Multi-threading.
when [Enabled] Intel HT Technology in BIOS (Default Value),
Enter into OS, can see processor thread running with [8 cores].

If [Disabled] Intel HT Technology in BIOS manually.
Enter into OS, can see processor thread running with [4 cores].

1. Prepare RAID Drivers
Before create Raid, preparing a formatted floppy disk with essential Raid driver is necessary.
All drivers you can get from Biostar Driver CD.
Under Windows,
Clicking “My Computer”, click right button on DVD-Rom and click “Open”
If your DVD-Rom device is E
For Win XP, the path is E:\Driver\Chipset\ATI\SB600_RAID_F6\XP
For Win Vista 32 bits, the path is E:\Driver\Chipset\ATI\SB600_RAID_F6\VISTA\x86
For Win Vista 64 bits, the path is E:\Driver\Chipset\ATI\SB600_RAID_F6\VISTA\x64
For Win 2003, the path is E:\Driver\Chipset\ATI\SB600_RAID_F6\2003
Each folder above, you can find “copytoa” execute file. Under windows, inserting a formatted disk, and click “copytoa”, it will copy all RAID drivers to the floppy disk.

2. Procedures during Win XP installation
When seeing the message below on the screen, be sure press “F6” for loading RAID drivers

Waiting for a while, until seeing the screen below

Insert the RAID Floppy Driver Disk before press “S” to load RAID Drivers
Install Win XP Home or Professional Edition, Choose “ATI AHCI Compatible RAID Controller-x86 platform”
Install Win XP 64bits Edition, Choose “ATI AHCI Compatible RAID Controller-x64 platform”

All drivers have been loaded after seeing the screen below.
Press Enter to continue
The following procedures are the same as normal Win XP installation

3. Procedures during Win Vista installation
Insert a storage device with the Vista RAID drivers
When seeing the screen below, click “Load Driver”

Press “OK”

Point out the storage device, and see the drivers on the list
Press “Next” to load the drivers

After loading the RAID driver, the array can be seen on the list
The following procedures are normal Win Vista installation.

1. Press Delete key to go to CMOS. Select Integrated Peripherals > South OnChip PCI device > OnChip SATA Type > RAID.

After the BIOS setting, Save and exit the BIOS.

Most of DDR2 1066 memory need to over-voltage and set the memory timing in BIOS.

Please follow procedure for proper memory settings.

(1)Check your memory volage.
--> Every different memory has different original voltage value demand,please check your memory first.
For example:
This memory demand volatge is 2.2V~2.4V

(2)Set your memory voltage in BIOS.
CMOS / T-Series / OverClock Navigator [Manual OverClock] / Voltage Configuration / Memory Over Voltage [Please set the memory demand voltage].
--> For example,this memory voltage follow its demand to set it to 2.2V~2.4V

(3)Set memory clock in BIOS.
CMOS / T-Series / OverClock Navigator [Manual OverClock] / DRAM Timing Configuration / Memory Clock Mode [Manual] / Memclock Value [Please set to DDR2-1066]

(4)BIOS [Save Changes & Exit]
Memory clock will run DDR2-1066 speed.

POST screen can verify the DDR2 speed.

ATI motherboard can only use HDMI or DVI port one at a time.
Because chipset will support one digital and one analog display by design.

Also DVI cannot use adaptor to connect D-Sub monitor.
It need to use monitor or TV with DVI in put cable.
Which means it will only spport digital display for the motherboard's DVI header.
