How to make RAID 0 with M.2 PCI-E hard disk on Intel 600 motherboard?

 1. Please press “Delete” when the system POST, to enter BIOS.

2. Press “F7” to go to advance model.

 3. Go to Advance-> SATA Configuration.

4. Set SATA Mode Selection to “RAID”

 5. Press “F10” to Save & Exit

 6. When the system boot on, go under BIOS-> Advanced ->Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology.

7. Go to Create RAID Volume.

8. Set the RAID Level to “RAID0 (Stripe)” and change both of the Disk options to “X”.

 9. Select Create Volume.

 10. Then, enter the RAID Volume to check the details of RAID 0.

   11. After checking, press “F10” again to Save & Exit.

 12. When the system reboot automatically, press “F9” to select the bootable device and start the installation of OS.

How to install the RAID controller driver during Windows OS installation?

1. Boot the computer via Windows installation disc. And follow the instruction on the screen to star installing the windows.

2. Choose a type of installation, click Custom: Install Windows only (advanced). 

3. Choose Load Driver, then click Browse. 

You can go to the download page of  your product on BIOSTAR website. Download the driver below Intel Rapid Storage Technology(RAID Mode) and save it to your USB flash drive. 

4. Select VMD folder in your USB flash drive and click Next to finish the installation.  

For the current version of HiveOS it doesn't support Intel integrated CPU graphcis. So if you connect the video output to onboard HDMI or VGA you won't get video.

We advise to connect the video output to the graphcis card installed in PCI-E x16 slot instead.

1. Please ensure you already updated to the supported BIOS.

For motherobard A320MH please update to the BIOS "A32ESC03.BSS" or later BIOS.

2. After BIOS update process completed please restart the system and turn off the AC power source.

3. Remove CMOS battery of the motherboard and clear CMOS jumper.

4. After finished clear CMOS jumper AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors can be used with A320MH motherboard.

Installation Process

1. After install your OS and plug in Lan cable

2. Go to BIOSTAR website and Download the Smart Update utility

3. Extract the file at your computer desktop

4. Run the SmartUpdate.exe and press the Download Update

5. The utility will start to download the drivers from website and install

6. Install Driver Finish! Please Reboot System!

Some user mays have a question about that graphcis cards not working when connected them to the PCIe x1 slots (PEX1_7~PEX1_11) of the motherboard TB360-BTC PRO or TB360-BTC PRO2.0.

That's because the PCIe slots in the second row are not capable of providing power.

As the result, please use riser cards which are capable of providing power to graphics cards.

But please note that the riser card below might not provide the proper voltage to a graphcis cards.

We advise users use the following riser card instead and please make sure the power cable is connected properly.

According to the specification of the TB360 series motherboards they only support SATA M.2 devices.

So if you use a PCIe NVMe M.2 that system won't recoganize it.  Please replace an M.2 SATA device.

Hardware 

Ensure hardware connect properly first.

(1). Check VGA card 

Try to only plug one VGA card in PEX16_1 (long yellow slot) directly without riser card => Check whether display

(2). Check Riser card 

Try to plug VGA card with only one riser card to test per PEX1 and PEX16_1 => Check whether display.

(3). Check Power supply

Make sure power supplies you use are sufficient for your whole system.

(4). Check the power connector of Riser Cards and VGA cards are connected properly.

(5). There are two 6 pin AUXPWR1 and AXUPWR2 connectors at the botton of the motherboard. Please don't connect them to neither power supplies nor graphics cards.

(2) BIOS Setting

Enter BIOS setup and press F3 to load optimized default then press F10 to save BIOS setting.

--> Enable Mining mode (Chipset / Mining Mode)

--> Disable CSM Support (Boot / CSM support )    If you get CSM Enabled you will see an"Insufficient PCI resources error".

OS

(1) Make sure the OS version is up to date.

(2) Make sure all drivers for your motherboard and graphics cards are installed.

If your motherboard is TB360-BTC Pro or TB360-BTC Pro 2.0 please find the front panel header at the botton right of the motherboard and touch the pin 6 and 8 with a item made of metal after you switch the power supply on.
