Can I use SATA 2 hard disk on VIA 8237 or 6420 SATA chipset?

No. Currently, VIA 8237 and 6420 SATA chipset only supports SATA 1 interface hard disks.

Why does the SPDIF output on iDEQ only have 2-channel sound?

If the iDEQ system uses Realtek ALC audio codec, the default setting of audio driver is set for 2-channel SPDIF output. Users need to open the Realtek AC97 configuration >> Sound Effect. Set the Environment to Generic, then SPDIF output will work for 6-channel output.

Why does the iDEQ300G's Eject Button In Remote Control not functioning properly with Windows MCE 2005?

Why does my motherboard cannot show the AMD Sempron CPU name correctly in POST screen?

If the motherboard can support Sempron CPU, but the CPU name in POST screen does not show correctly. The problem is because the BIOS version too old. Please update the latest BIOS on our website for supporting the Sempron CPU name. https://www.biostar.com.tw/support/bios/index.php3 For the K7 motherboard, the CPU clock jumper need to set to 333 MHz. Then the CPU will run at correct speed and system will show the correct CPU name in POST screen. Why does my LGA 775 system shut down automatically after power on few seconds?

If LGA 775 system shut down automatically after power on few seconds. This is because CPU cooler did not contact properly on the CPU surface. Please double check the fastener is lock securely on the motherboard. Then the CPU temperature will run at proper range and system will be able to work.

Why does the CPU temperature is very high on my iDEQ 200T, 200A, 210A and 210M system?

When using Intel FSB 800 CPU with 90nm (Prescott) core, the normal working temperature will be around 50 degrees Centigrade. However, if the CPU cooler did not sit properly on the CPU retention kit, CPU temperature might go up to 70 or 80 degrees. To make the CPU temperature goes back to normal operating range. Please apply the silicon compound on the CPU surface and re-mount the CPU cooler properly then lock the lever.
