Will TA990FXE support GSKILL DDR3 1600 2G memory module?

Yes, TA990FXe will support GSKILL DDR3 1600 2G memeory module.

If the DDR speed is not reaching 1600 MHz, please manualy adjust the memory frequency to 1600 MHz.

1. Go to CMOS> O.N.E> OverClock Navigator> Manual OverClock

2. Go to DRAM TIMING Configuration>MCT Timing Mode>Manual

3. Set Memclock Value to DDR 1600

4. Press F4 key to Save configuration and reset.

How to add software or benchmark program to use Virtu on TZ68A+ motherboard?

1. Open Virtu Control Panel, go to Application section and click add button.

2. Select game or benchmark utility.

3. Modify name in this section.

4. Press OK to save the setting.

5. Added program or benchmark utility should appear in the Virtu.

6. We suggest to reboot the system to let Virtu to keep the setting.

How to enable multi-monitor for my TZ68K+ motherboard?

Please press [Del] key in POST screen to go to CMOS> Chipset> IGD Multi-Monitor> set to Enable.

Then press [F4] key to Save and Exit the BIOS.

After next boot to OS, you will be able to choose second monitor if plug two monitor at either two on-board VGA ports.

You can choose D-sub+DVI / D-sub+HDMI / DVI+HDMI for display combo.

Why my motherboard will show CPU over 95W limitation and shut down automatically?

This 95W limitation is for protect motherboard for using CPU over it's design limit. So the motherboard's life time will stay longer. Please refer CPU support page in motherboard model page for the proper CPU support.

If need to use CPU over 95W or higher, please choose the motherboard model support 125W or higher design.

How to enable 6 channel audio for my G41D3C motherboard with VIA VT1708B codec?

Please follow instruction here to turn on 6 channel audio for G41D3C motherboard

1. Open VIA HD ADeck utility from desktop link

2. Select [Speaker]

3. Choose [6 Channel] for speakers

4. Plug in speaker on Green audio port for Front audio output

5. Plug in speaker on Blue audio port for Rear audio output

6. Plug in speaker on Pink audio port for Center/Subwoofer output

7. Click on Test logo to hear the audio output for each channel to see if connection is properly

How to increase shared VGA memory size for my N68S3B motherboard?

Please follow the instruction here for the shared VGA memory size setup.

1. Press [Delete] key in POST screen to go to BIOS setup

2. Go to Chipset > SouthBridge MCP68 Configuration

3. iGPU Frame Buffer Detect set to [Disable]

4. OnChip VGA Frame Brffer Size can be select from [16MB/32MB/64MB/128MB/256MB] as you needed.

5. Press [F10] key to Save and Exit the BIOS setting.

6. After next boot up, system will run with new shared VGA memory setting.

Note: Please reserve more than 2GB of free memory space (exclude VGA shared memory size) for Windows 7 to run properly.
